Terms of Use

By accessing angelacid.com or placing a pre-order for the Angel Acid 888-LENS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These terms are a contract between you and us — they explain how our pre-order works, what you can expect, and what we ask of you.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website or place an order.

• "Company," "we," "us" — Angel Acid B.V., registered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
• "Product" — The Angel Acid 888-LENS red light therapy device and any included accessories.
• "Services" — The website angelacid.com and all related digital services.
• "User," "you" — Any person who accesses the website or places a pre-order.
• "Pre-Order" — A confirmed purchase of a Product from an upcoming production Batch.
• "Batch" — A limited production run of the Product (e.g., Batch 002: 500 units).

The 888-LENS is sold exclusively through a batch production model. Each batch is a limited run manufactured to order.

• Current batch: Batch 002, scheduled to ship July 15.
• Payment is collected at the time of your pre-order.
• You may cancel your pre-order at any time before the batch enters production for a full refund.
• If we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason, you will be notified promptly and refunded in full within 14 days.
• Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. We will communicate any delays promptly via email.

The 888-LENS is priced at €299 (VAT included for EU customers). All prices are displayed in EUR.

• Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and iDEAL.
• All transactions are secured with 256-bit SSL encryption.
• Your confirmed pre-order price is locked in — prices may change between batches, but the price at time of order is the price you pay.
• International orders may be subject to local import duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer.

Orders ship when the full batch enters fulfilment. Your order ships with the batch you reserved.

• Free tracked shipping within the EU — typically 5–7 business days from dispatch.
• International shipping: 7–14 business days. Rates are shown at checkout.
• Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery by the carrier.
• You will receive tracking information via email when your order ships.

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, without giving any reason.

This is your statutory right under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Dutch law (Burgerlijk Wetboek, Book 7). It applies in addition to our 90-Day Guarantee.

• How to exercise: Send a clear, unambiguous statement to concierge@angelacid.com before the 14-day period expires.
• Refund timeline: We will refund all payments, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
• Return obligation: You must return the product within 14 days of exercising the withdrawal right.
• The product must be returned in its original condition. You are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product.

This right is separate from — and in addition to — our 90-Day Bright Eye Guarantee described below.

In addition to your statutory EU rights, we offer a 90-day satisfaction guarantee on every 888-LENS purchase.

• If you do not see visible improvement within 90 days, return the product for a full refund of €299.
• No questions asked. Prepaid return shipping is included worldwide.
• This guarantee does not limit your statutory consumer rights under EU law.

Every 888-LENS comes with a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects.

Covers:

• LED module failure
• Battery degradation beyond normal use
• Structural defects in frame or housing
• Electronic component malfunction

Does not cover:

• Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear
• Damage from misuse, modification, or unauthorised repair
• Water damage beyond the rated IP resistance
• Loss or theft

To claim, email concierge@angelacid.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will arrange inspection and repair or replacement at no cost. This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.

The 888-LENS is designed for personal cosmetic use to support skin health around the periorbital area using 660nm red light therapy. The recommended protocol is 10 minutes per day, once daily.

Contraindications — do not use if:

• You have a known photosensitivity disorder
• You are taking photosensitising medications, including but not limited to tetracycline, doxycycline, isotretinoin (Accutane), certain diuretics, or St. John's Wort

Consult your physician before use if:

• You have epilepsy or a seizure disorder
• You are pregnant or nursing

Do not use on open wounds or broken skin in the treatment area. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider if you experience discomfort, irritation, or an adverse reaction.

Eye safety: The 660nm wavelength is within the visible red spectrum and is not UV or infrared. The device directs light to the periorbital skin, not directly into the eye. Do not stare directly into the LED array.

The 888-LENS is a personal wellness device. It is not a medical device intended for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease or medical condition.

• This device is CE certified as a consumer wellness product. It has not been evaluated or approved by the FDA, EMA, or any regulatory body as a medical device for therapeutic claims.
• Results referenced on this website are inspired by published clinical research on red light therapy at 660nm. Individual results may vary.
• Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new wellness protocol.
• Angel Acid B.V. makes no guarantees regarding specific health outcomes.

All content on angelacid.com — including text, images, videos, graphics, logos, and the Angel Acid brand name — is the property of Angel Acid B.V. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• The 888-LENS design, LED array configuration, and Protocol system are proprietary. Patents pending.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
• The Angel Acid name and logo are registered trademarks of Angel Acid B.V.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Angel Acid B.V.'s total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the product is limited to the amount you paid for the product (€299).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the product or services.

Important: Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights under EU law, including but not limited to your right to a conforming product and your right of withdrawal. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence on our part.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase the product.
• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when placing a pre-order.
• You agree to use the product only as intended and in accordance with the included instructions.
• You may not resell the product commercially without written consent from Angel Acid B.V.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials associated with your order.

By placing a pre-order, you consent to receive transactional communications (order confirmation, shipping updates, batch status) via email. These are essential to fulfilling your order.

• Marketing communications (product news, batch releases, protocol tips) are opt-in only, in compliance with GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
• You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in each email or by contacting concierge@angelacid.com.
• We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, product offerings, or applicable law.

• Material changes will be communicated via email to pre-order customers at least 14 days before taking effect.
• The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
• Continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

EU Online Dispute Resolution

As required by Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, we inform you that the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We are committed to resolving complaints directly and encourage you to contact us first before filing a formal dispute.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
